Recipe: Oatmeal Waffles





For 12 Persons

1 1/2 c All purpose flour

1 c Quick cooking rolled oats

1 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt

6 tb Butter, melted

2 Eggs, slightly beaten

2 tb Brown sugar
1 1/2 c Milk

In a large bowl stir together Flour, Oats, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, and
Salt. In a small bowl stir together Eggs, Milk, Butter, and Brown Sugar.
Add liquids to flour/oats mix, stir until well blended. Pour onto
preheated, lightly greased (Pam works well) waffle iron. Close lid and cook
to desired doneness. Use a fork to remove waffle from the iron. serve with
jams, honey, yogurt or syrup. Recipe make 12 4" waffles, recipes doubles
well and cooked waffles freeze and reheat nicely
