Recipe: Oat Cake
For 8 Persons

1 c Oatmeal
1 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening
1 Egg
1/4 c Milk

Mix first 6 ingredients together. Put in shortening. blend well. Beat
eggs and milk, add to the first mixture. Roll out 1/4 in thick. Cut in
squares.
Bake 400 degree oven for 10 minutes or until slightly brown.
