Recipe: Garbanzos and Couscous
For 7 Persons

1 sm Onion -- chopped
3 md Carrots -- chopped
1 cn Tomatoes, Canned -- diced,
14 1/2 oz Ca
1 cn Garbanzo Beans, Canned -- 15
oz Can
1 c Chicken Broth -- reduced
Sodium
3 cl Garlic -- minced
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Cumin
1/2 ts Turmeric
1/4 ts Cayenne
1 1/2 c Couscous, Cooked
Throw everything in the pot and mix it up. (no couscous though]. Cover;
cook on low 8-10 hours {High:3-4 hours}. Add cooked couscous during last
15 minutes of cooking. 6 to 8 servings.
