Recipe: Date Balls
For 1 Persons

1 pk (7 1/2 oz) dates, finely
-chopped
1 Stick margerine
1 Egg beaten lightly with a
-fork
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Sugar
2 c Rice Krispies
1 Bag fine flake coconut
In a large pot, combine dates, butter, sugar,and egg. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly over medium heat. Cook at medium heat for 10 minutes,
continuing to stir. Add vanilla and rice krispies, mixing well. Allow to
cool until you can handle the mixture. Roll into small balls, then roll in
coconut (or powdered sugar).
