Recipe: Date and Pecan Cookies
For 36 Persons

1 c Sugar
1 c Butter
3 Eggs
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Gound cloves
1 ts Vanilla
3/4 ts Baking soda
2 1/2 c Flour
8 oz Chopped dates
1 c Pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine ingredients in indicated order.
Drop onto a cookie sheet by the tablespoon. (I use nonstick cookie sheets,
so a spray of PAM may be a good idea for the other kind.) bake 8-10 minutes
