Recipe: Daddy's Hot Water Sponge
For 1 Persons

Egg yolks (from Angel Food
-cake)
1/2 c Water, boiling
1 tb Vanilla extract, or more
1 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
3 tb Cocoa
Prepare loaf pan with Pam spray; preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sift together the flour and sugar with the baking powder, salt and cocoa.
Beat eggs; pour in boiling water and vanilla. Stir eggs into flour mixture.
Pour batter into pan and bake until done.
