Recipe: Dad's Favorite Marinade

1 1/2 c White wine
1 1/2 ts Fennel or anise seed;

-crushed
2 1/2 ts Brown sugar

1 Clove garlic; crushed

2 ts Soy sauce
1/2 ts Black pepper

5 ts Lemon juice
1/2 c Oil

3 Scallions; chopped

1 ts Salt

1 pn Nutmeg; (optional)

Mix all ingredients, other than scallions, in blender or food processor.
